You will have a J.D. from a U.S. law school and 10+ years of practice, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and bar admission in good standing in the state of residency.
• 10+ years of experience in a relevant practice area.
• Substantial knowledge of current law and issues within area of specialty.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in an organized, effective, and timely manner.
• Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of complex insurance distribution arrangements, including agency and aggregator relationships.
• Advise on reinsurance transactions, including inbound, outbound, catastrophe, and opportunistic reinsurance.
• Structure complex, multi-party insurance programs and commercial transactions, including fleet programs and collateral arrangements.
• Coordinate suites of interrelated agreements and translate business models into workable legal structures.
• Partner across the organization on strategic initiatives and broader contracts, IP, and marketing matters.
• Participate in process-improvement initiatives and adoption of new tools for legal services.
