Job summary

Office of the New York City Comptroller is seeking an Executive Agency Counsel to lead litigation-related negotiations and settlements, supervise attorneys, and support the Litigation Unit with data analytics. The role requires NY Bar admission and significant supervisory experience.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Litigation, you will manage complex pre-litigation and litigation matters, prepare complex memoranda, and guide staff through settlement processes in a fast-paced NYC environment.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar and four years of relevant legal experience after admission.
• Three- to four-sentence paragraph about supervisory responsibilities and complex legal work.
