The role focuses on reviewing and negotiating large EPC projects from proposal through execution, and on master services agreements with customers, based in Houston, TX or other offices. You will draft and negotiate contracts with customers, support procurement and operations teams, advise on changes, and assist with potential

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Current license to practice law.
• 5–10 years of transactional/commercial legal experience.
• Minimum 1 year negotiating contracts in engineering/construction.
• Experience with EPC projects in electric power or power generation preferred.
• M&A background preferred; litigation with EPC experience considered.
• Experience negotiating joint venture agreements preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Self-directed with strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with customers (EPC, Design-Build, CMAR, MSA).
• Assist Commercial Development, Supply Chain/Procurement, and Operations with contract negotiations with JV partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Provide contract support and guidance during project execution, including change orders.
• Assist with potential claims, litigation and regulatory investigations.
• Travel to various company locations, project sites, and negotiations as required.
