Corewell Health seeks a Senior Counsel to partner with the VP and other senior leaders to develop compliant physician contracts and innovative care delivery models. The role emphasizes alignment with organizational strategy and value-based arrangements.

You will draft agreements, assess regulatory impact, and guide large-scale physician transactions while mentoring legal teammates and collaborating with executives across departments.

Qualifications

• Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 7 years of relevant post-law school experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic and legal advisor to senior leaders on physician arrangements and employment agreements.
• Draft and negotiate physician employment agreements, medical directorships, call coverage arrangements, and service agreements.
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice on regulatory considerations and risk allocation.
• Develop physician alignment strategies to support growth, quality, access and care transformation.
• Collaborate with finance and business leaders on compensation and incentive design.
• Educate stakeholders on healthcare regulatory requirements and fair market value concepts.
