Job summary

HealthTrust Purchasing Group seeks a Senior Counsel Contracts to draft and negotiate vendor agreements for HealthTrust member institutions and HCA affiliates. You will review, tailor, and finalize contracts, and provide guidance on pricing, compliance, and risk.

With 10+ years of contracting experience and a JD, you will partner with business teams and senior leaders to ensure favorable terms while maintaining regulatory compliance across healthcare laws.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree Required.
JD Degree from accredited Law School.
Contracting experience required.
10+ years of experience.
TN Bar membership or ability to be waived or take exam.

Responsibilities

Draft agreements and templates; coordinate with business clients to ensure proper legal documents are used.
Review edits proposed by other contracting parties; negotiate to mutually acceptable terms.
Provide legal guidance on contract interpretation and health care laws.
Draft and negotiate pricing agreements for HealthTrust members.
Assist business clients in finalizing documents for signatures.
Support compliance with Anti-kickback laws and Safe Harbor provisions.
