Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a seasoned Senior Counsel to provide legal advice across real estate, vendor contracts, physician arrangements and hospital transactions. You will review contracts for compliance with federal and state laws, mitigate risk, and support CHMG management with strategic initiatives.

Requirements include a JD, NJ bar admission, and at least two years of healthcare contracting experience, plus strong drafting skills and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong health care contract negotiation and drafting skills.
• Solid understanding and experience working on health care transactions.
• Experience and working knowledge of tax exemption requirements for non-profit health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and negotiates physician and clinical services and vendor contracts for Capital Health and CHMG.
• Provides legal guidance on regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters.
• Coordinates significant transactions including due diligence and post-closing implementation.
• Supports CH Compliance Program and risk mitigation strategies.
