Job summary

Mastercard Transfer Solutions, a business unit within Commercial & New Payment Flows, seeks a Senior Counsel/Director to lead legal support for stablecoin enablement. You will provide proactive, globally coordinated guidance to support product development, manage regulatory risk, and enable responsible innovation.

This role partners with Product, Technology, Operations, Treasury, Compliance, and other teams, reports to Senior Managing Counsel/VP, Cross Border Services, and may involve external

Qualifications

• Significant legal experience in payments and money movement.
• Experience with digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, or money transmission.
• Ability to advise on multi-jurisdictional launches and partner risk.
• Active bar membership and good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal guidance for stablecoin enablement.
• Draft, structure and negotiate strategic commercial agreements.
• Monitor global regulatory developments affecting digital assets.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Compliance, and other teams to manage risk.
