Job summary

LabConnect is seeking a Senior Counsel to partner with business teams on global commercial transactions and regulatory compliance. You will oversee the contracts management group, draft and negotiate agreements across central lab services, alliance network, and technology platforms, supporting sponsors, CROs, lab partners, and vendors in complex trials.

You will guide regulatory advisory, handle strategic transactions, and drive improvements to legal workflows while aligning with LabConnect's

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active U.S. state bar.
• 5–7 years advising on commercial and operational matters.
• Experience in laboratory services, clinical research, life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage full lifecycle of commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, COs, DPAs, BAAs, amendments).
• Act as go-to legal advisor for commercial, operations, and project management teams.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters spanning global operations and data privacy.
• Develop, maintain, and update internal policies, SOPs, and contract guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement of legal processes, templates, and workflows.
• Supervise contract management team and mentor staff.
