Job summary
The NBA is seeking a Senior Director to manage compliance, business and integrity matters relating to sports betting and prediction markets. Reporting to the Vice President & Assistant General Counsel, League Governance & Policy, this role will enhance integrity systems, coordinate with league partners, and oversee Gaming Policy training and investigations.
You will advise on federal, state and international laws, develop monitoring platforms with analytics, and help shape league marketing rules
Qualifications
- Juris doctor degree and bar admission.
- 3–5 years of law firm or in-house experience in litigation or compliance.
- Experience with sports betting or gaming policy is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with stakeholders to administer sports betting integrity infrastructure.
- Develop and refine a monitoring platform with analytics.
- Support policy development for gaming rules and relevant laws.
- Provide legal and regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and administer Gaming Policy training and awareness programs.
- Support investigations into potential Gaming Policy violations.
- Work on league marketing rules for betting and prediction markets.
- Handle special projects as needed.
