Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school is required.
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois; admission to the Northern District is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of legal experience; supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage active litigation caseload as primary counsel for CPS and employees.
• Supervise AGCs and support staff; guide litigation strategy and case management.
• Provide client counseling and guidance across CPS schools and departments.
• Represent CPS at settlement conferences and in federal court proceedings.
• Review and edit written work and assist with unit organization and training.
