Job summary

Kindle Energy LLC in Princeton, NJ, seeks an experienced Counsel Finance & M&A to support corporate finance, project finance, and complex transactions across its asset management and development platforms. This role works closely with finance, development, asset management, EPCM, and executive leadership to enable growth while managing legal risk.

The attorney will guide investments across Kindle’s platform, coordinate with internal teams, and direct external counsel to ensure efficient deal

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school required.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in energy, M&A, project finance, and complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments involving energy infrastructure assets.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents including NDAs, LOIs, stock and asset purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and related documents.
• Manage due diligence processes, identify legal risks, and advise on transaction structuring and risk mitigation.
