Job summary

Kindle Energy LLC is actively seeking a Counsel - EPCM to support its in-house legal team in developing power generation projects across the United States. The role is based in Princeton, NJ, with a hybrid work model (three days onsite, two days remote) and limited travel.

The attorney will negotiate complex contracts for procurement, EPC agreements, and PPAs, coordinate with engineering and procurement, and assist through COD and sales of facilities while staying compliant with regulatory

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-approved school, licensed in NJ or residence state.
• Experience in corporate law environment; in-house preferred but not required.
• Experience in power/energy industry recommended: transactional, EPC, LTSAs, construction law.

Responsibilities

• Support EPCM procurement, construction, and operation workflows for gas-fired plants.
• Draft and analyze contracts: NDAs, vendor terms, master agreements, service agreements.
• Negotiate EPC, equipment supply, and PPAs; review regulatory matters at federal/state level.
• Collaborate with Kindle teams and outside counsel on EPCM issues and projects.
• Support pipeline of existing and future projects through COD timelines.
