RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Director and Senior Counsel to support senior functional leaders across major programs and initiatives. The role requires delivering timely, pragmatic legal and strategic advice to enable business objectives and maintain trust with leadership.

Qualified candidates will have extensive legal experience, a U.S. law degree, and active bar admission, with preference for aerospace/defense knowledge and the ability to collaborate across RTX,

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and strategic advisory capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal matters and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Establish trusting relationships with functional and business leaders to understand needs and provide business-centric legal guidance.
• Provide direct legal support to RTX functional organizations and major initiatives.
• Advise on relevant U.S. laws and regulations (OSHA, EPA, FAR/DFARS, NIST) and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with RTX, Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney leaders to align practices.
• Present on legal topics to senior business or Legal team leadership.
• Manage outside counsel and the general counsel budget within scope of responsibilities.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required (approximately 10–20%).
