Qualifications

• Typically requires 12+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years in aerospace/defense or manufacturing.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Admitted and in good standing with at least one U.S. State bar.

Responsibilities

• Establish trusting relationships with functional/business leaders and provide business-centric legal guidance.
• Provide direct legal support to major RTX functional organizations and initiatives.
• Advise on U.S./foreign laws and regulations (OSHA, EPA, FAR/DFARS, NIST) and compliance.
• Collaborate with RTX, Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney leaders to share best practices.
• Present legal topics to senior leadership and train business or legal personnel.
• Manage outside counsel and the general counsel budget; travel 10–20%.
• Support multiple sites (e.g., VA Arlington) and domestic/international roles.
