Job summary

U.S. Bank's Law Division seeks an experienced attorney to support the Digital Assets and Money Movement business line. You will provide legal, product, and regulatory guidance on innovative offerings and oversee development from concept to deployment.

You will work closely with business units, risk, compliance, and technology teams to navigate evolving regulations and ensure prudent risk management while enabling strategic execution.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership required.
• 7+ years of legal experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, payments, or regulatory counseling.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and advise on GENIUS Act and related laws for digital assets, blockchain, and money movement.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on enterprise strategy, product design, and operations.
• Provide legal support across the digital asset product lifecycle including risk assessment and commercialization.
• Partner with business, risk, and technology teams to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
• Support development of risk management strategies for emerging business models.
