Groq, Inc. seeks an experienced in-house Counsel to lead legal support for data center leasing, colocation, and related infrastructure contracts. You will collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Data Center teams to manage diligence, negotiations, and contract execution, while shaping scalable processes.

The role emphasizes practical legal guidance, risk assessment, and the ability to drive timely decisions in a fast-moving infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience advising on sophisticated commercial transactions involving data centers, infrastructure, real estate, energy, technology, or similarly complex environments.
• Experience negotiating data center leases, colocation or related contracts.
• Able to connect legal issues with business needs across diligence, contracting, procurement, and operations.

Responsabilités

• Lead legal support for data center leasing, colocation, and related agreements from negotiation to execution.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on site diligence (energy, land use, zoning, site control).
• Support procurement and supply chain transactions involving computing infrastructure and OEMs.
• Act as a practical legal partner for Groq’s data center operations and scale.
• Own templates, playbooks, and contracting processes to accelerate negotiations.
