Job summary

Solutus Legal Search represents a publicly traded cloud infrastructure company seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Data Centers and Infrastructure, to lead high-value transactions and partner with data center, procurement, engineering, and finance teams. This fully remote US role offers substantial impact on global deployments and complex commercial arrangements.

You will negotiate data center leases, design/build and O&M agreements, and manage governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6-8+ years of legal experience, including meaningful in-house support for data center or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience negotiating data center agreements from a developer, provider, or tenant perspective.
• Familiarity with facilities and O&M agreements and key terms (SLA, security, audit, change control, service credits).
• Strong foundation in technology and infrastructure transactions with ability to translate requirements into practical legal terms.
• JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• Proven ability to lead multiple complex projects independently and deliver practical advice on timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive data center transactions from structuring through signature, including LOIs, MSAs, and order forms.
• Draft and negotiate data center capacity leases, colocation, design/build, and operation-and-maintenance agreements.
• Lead infrastructure procurement agreements for GPUs, servers, network and power equipment.
• Partner cross-functionally on deal structure and provide practical counsel on risk allocation and remediation.
• Support international expansion by coordinating with local counsel on jurisdictional requirements.
• Build scalable templates, playbooks, and approval matrices for the lean legal department.
