Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in the United States is seeking a Counsel, General Legal to support the Data Center and Global Enterprise Solutions teams. The role focuses on high‑value commercial transactions, providing practical legal guidance, and scaling contracting processes while managing risk.

The position partners with internal stakeholders across compliance, employment, litigation, and IP, and requires a JD, bar admission, and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
• Bar admission in any US state.
• 3+ years of law firm experience or in-house corporate/commercial experience.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end execution of complex, high-value commercial agreements for Data Centers, Megaprojects, and GES, including negotiations with customers and partners.
• Advise Data Center/Megaprojects leads and sales on contract strategy, risk allocation, and deal structure.
• Provide guidance during contract negotiations, including issue spotting and risk-mitigating positions.
• Draft and revise MSAs, project agreements, amendments, and settlement arrangements.
• Drive improvements to contract review, negotiation, and approval workflows for speed and risk management.
• Identify recurring risk themes and support standardization, templates, and playbooks.
