Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX business, seeks an Associate Director & Counsel to lead transactional work and regulatory compliance for Commercial Engines. You will negotiate complex agreements with customers and airframers worldwide, and advise on regulatory matters while coordinating with program partners.

The role requires significant travel and a strong executive presence to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced aerospace environment in East Hartford, Connecticut.

Qualifications

• J.D. and at least 10 years of relevant legal experience are required.
• At least 5+ years at a law firm with experience in commercial transactions, M&A, or related disputes.
• Good standing with a state bar and timely in-house counsel registration.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access necessary systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide transactional support across the P&L, negotiating complex commercial agreements globally.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and communicate with customers, airframers, regulators and program partners.
• Must be able to travel and provide on-site presence in East Hartford, CT.
