Cardinal Health seeks a practical, business-oriented healthcare attorney to serve as Director, Assistant General Counsel, At-Home Solutions. This role supports a growing healthcare business across DMEPOS, At-Home Solutions, and VeloCare, guiding legal strategy during acquisition, integration, and scaling efforts.

The ideal candidate is a JD with substantial healthcare legal experience, strong contracting skills, and the ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organization to provide pragmatic

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school required.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required.
• 10+ years of healthcare legal experience preferred, including DMEPOS exposure.
• Strong commercial contracting experience: drafting, reviewing, negotiating complex agreements.
• Ability to understand new business models, workflows, and evolving priorities.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary commercial legal partner for At-Home Solutions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements across customers, suppliers, and vendors.
• Identify key issues, communicate risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop guardrails and guidance for evolving business models.
• Lead programmatic improvements to legal support with templates and playbooks.
• Leverage technology to improve accessibility and consistency of guidance.
