Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a practical, business-focused healthcare attorney to serve as Senior Counsel, At-Home Solutions. This role supports growing healthcare businesses within At-Home Solutions at a pivotal acquisition, integration, and transformation phase, including DMEPOS, At-Home, and VeloCare.

The Senior Counsel will provide commercial legal support across these businesses, focusing on contracting, strategic relationships, and operational matters to drive growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare legal experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience advising on customer-facing and vendor-facing commercial arrangements.
• Familiarity with healthcare fraud and abuse, privacy, billing and reimbursement, licensure, or other healthcare laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day commercial legal partner for At-Home Solutions businesses, providing risk-tailored, business-oriented advice.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements across customer, supplier, vendor, manufacturer, distribution, services, technology, and strategic relationships.
• Counsel on contract risk, new services, commercial models, and operational changes.
• Identify legal and compliance issues, communicate risks, and involve subject-matter experts when needed.
• Support strategic projects, integrations, technology implementations, and service launches.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Marketing, Sourcing, Operations, Sales, Regulatory, Compliance, and other partners.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, intake processes, and training.
• Manage multiple matters with timely, prioritized support.
