Meta's Legal team is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join the AI Partnerships group. You will lead complex commercial deals and data licensing to bring Meta's AI models to market across ecosystems.

This role requires a JD and US bar, with 5+ years in technology transactions, and a proven track record negotiating cloud, SaaS, or platform agreements. You will collaborate cross-functionally with BD, product, policy, and other legal teams.

Competenze

• J.D. (US) and active bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of legal experience with technology transactions, commercial licensing, or strategic partnerships.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements (cloud, SaaS, platform, or similar).
• Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and drive deals to close with minimal oversight.
• Experience assessing legal risk and advising on risk mitigation in evolving regulatory environments.

Mansioni

• Model Distribution & Ecosystem Launch: serve as the primary legal partner for distributing Meta's AI models through CSPs, open source channels, and go-to-market pathways.
• Structure, negotiate, and close distribution agreements enabling broad model availability while protecting Meta's interests.
• Lead or support large-scale AI commercial transactions including strategic partnerships and enterprise licensing.
• Data Licensing: advise on data acquisition and licensing for model training and product development.
• Provide commercial legal counsel to teams building AI-powered consumer experiences across Meta's apps.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: collaborate with BD, product, engineering, policy, and other legal teams to enable fast-moving commercial activity.
