Meta is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join the AI Partnerships Legal group in New York. You will lead and support high-stakes commercial transactions, licensing, and distribution efforts for Meta's AI models across ecosystems, working with CSPs, partners, and cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of technology transaction experience, strong negotiation skills, and comfort navigating evolving regulatory environments.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of legal experience in technology transactions, commercial licensing, or strategic partnerships.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements (cloud, SaaS, platform, or similar technologies).
• Ability to operate independently and drive deals to close with minimal oversight.
• Experience assessing legal risk and advising on risk mitigation in evolving regulatory environments.

Responsabilidades

• Model Distribution & Ecosystem Launch: Serve as the primary legal partner for distributing Meta's AI models through CSPs, open source channels, and other go-to-market paths.
• Large-Scale AI Commercial Transactions: Lead or support complex deals involving AI technology, including partnerships, joint development arrangements, and enterprise licensing.
• Data Licensing: Advise on data acquisition and licensing transactions to fuel model training and product development.
• Consumer Product Support: Provide commercial counsel to teams building AI-powered consumer experiences across Meta's apps.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with BD, product, engineering, policy, and other legal teams to enable fast-moving commercial activity in a rapidly evolving space.
