Job summary

Meta's Legal team seeks a Commercial Counsel to support AI Partnerships, focusing on bringing Meta's AI models to market across the ecosystem. You will structure and close distribution agreements, lead complex AI-related deals, and advise on data licensing and consumer product support.

Join a fast-paced, cross-functional team working with business development, product, policy, and engineering to enable rapid, responsible commercial activity in AI. This role is based in our Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of legal experience in technology transactions or partnerships.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements (cloud, SaaS, platform).

Responsibilities

• Model Distribution & Ecosystem Launch: lead distribution agreements with CSPs and other channels.
• Negotiate and close distribution deals to enable broad model availability.
• Lead or support large AI commercial transactions and partnerships.
• Advise on data licensing transactions for training and product development.
• Provide commercial counsel to teams building AI-powered consumer experiences.
