Job summary

Omnicell is seeking an in-house senior legal professional to shape and operationalize its global AI and data governance program. You will work at the intersection of law, product, engineering, security, and quality, translating fast-moving AI and privacy requirements into executable programs, controls, and product requirements the business can implement.

Qualifications

• JD and bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of in-house legal experience.
• Experience advising on privacy, AI, data governance, technology, or product/regulatory matters.
• Ability to translate evolving law into actionable programs and product requirements.
• Experience partnering with product, engineering, security, quality, procurement, or GTM teams.
• Curious, hands-on mindset; moves work forward without direction.
• Clear, practical communication to influence global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale Omnicell's global AI governance program for third-party tools and internal development.
• Translate AI, privacy, and data governance requirements into policies, procedures, and product requirements.
• Advise product, engineering, security, and business teams on responsible AI deployment.
• Lead legal guidance for AI risk reviews and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate on the AI validation framework for products.
• Oversee privacy and AI governance activities across impact assessments and related reviews.
• Counsel teams on privacy-by-design and responsible AI throughout the lifecycle.
• Create repeatable playbooks, frameworks, and metrics to scale governance globally.
