HackerOne seeks a trusted Senior Counsel, Employment & Compliance to lead the legal team’s employment, litigation, and compliance function. The Senior Counsel will co‑own outcomes with business stakeholders across the company and balance legal and reputational risk with high‑acceleration growth.

Qualifications

• J.D. with active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house setting, including labor/employment matters.
• Experience managing complex matters: litigation, regulatory compliance, cross‑functional advisory work.
• Ability to assess legal and business risks with judgment amid changing regulations.

Responsabilités

• Serve as trusted advisor on U.S. and global labor and employment matters, including hiring and compensation.
• Advise on employee relations issues, compliance, investigations, performance management, and terminations.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Product, and Revenue on platform legal risk balancing business goals.
• Manage dispute resolution, legal process, investigations, e-discovery, and subpoenas.
• Provide counsel on regulatory and compliance issues for platform, customers, workforce.
• Act as an AI-forward legal partner to leverage AI for research, risk, and efficiency.
