The role partners with business, product, and technology teams to evaluate AI use cases, advise on IP and data privacy, and ensure compliant deployment of AI-enabled offerings. Requires 10–12+ years of relevant experience in technology, AI, data or IP matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from accredited law school.
• 10-12+ years of relevant legal experience in technology, AI, data, or intellectual property matters.
• Strong ability to assess AI, data, and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, cross-functional legal matters and drive issues to resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to deliver practical, business-oriented legal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel to various business units.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Identify, analyze, and assess legal risks and provide proactive advice.
• Stay abreast of relevant changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Collaborate effectively with Legal, Compliance, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage outside counsel relationships and legal expenses.
• Provide legal advice and risk assessment on AI tools, models, and data-driven initiatives across the enterprise.
• Advise on IP, data use, and privacy requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate AI, technology, and data use agreements.
