Job summary
Roku is seeking a sharp attorney to join the Legal Ad Partnerships & Sales (LAPS) team. You’ll negotiate complex adtech and data licensing agreements, advise on privacy implications, and partner with multiple business units to move deals quickly and confidently. Hybrid work arrangement in the U.S. with in-office days Mon–Thu and optional remote Friday.
Applicant must have a J.D. from a U.S. law school and active bar status in NY or CA; 5+ years of transactional legal experience in ad tech or
Qualifications
- Adtech transactional experience across ad tech ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy and marketing laws.
- Ability to translate legal concepts into business guidance for fast-moving teams.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate contract review and drafting.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of adtech agreements and data licenses.
- Advise on data privacy and regulatory considerations embedded in commercial deals.
- Collaborate with ad sales, partnerships, ops, finance, product, and engineering as a trusted legal partner.
- Develop scalable processes that maintain speed without sacrificing legal rigor.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate contract review and analysis.
