Job summary

Real Chemistry is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our growing team. You will be a client-service oriented attorney ready to tackle new challenges at a global company that is growing rapidly.

This hybrid role can be based in any US office (New York, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco) or remotely within the US, depending on team needs. You will advise on advertising, marketing, digital media, licensing, data and privacy, and intellectual property for a wide range of client engagements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a JD from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of experience in law firm and/or in-house roles; in-house at an advertising/marketing agency or media company is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of advertising technology, integrated marketing, market research, and digital media.
• Experience with SaaS and AI solutions, digital content production, influencer and social media matters.
• Solid understanding of advertising regulations and IP matters including copyright, trademark, and licensing.

Responsibilities

• Advise on commercial legal matters with a focus on advertising, marketing, and digital media.
• Draft and negotiate complex client and vendor commercial and licensing agreements.
• Serve as the first point of contact for client or vendor negotiations and general legal matters.
• Provide ongoing legal counsel on commercial transactions, IP, data/privacy, and advertising regulations.
