Real Chemistry is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be a client-focused attorney ready to tackle challenging matters at a fast-growing global company.

The role is hybrid and can be based in multiple US offices or remotely within the US, with duties spanning advertising, marketing, digital media, and intellectual property law. A strong background in SaaS/AI-related issues is highly valued.

Competenze

• JD from accredited law school; licensed to practice law.
• Minimum 5+ years’ meaningful work experience in a combination of law firm and in-house.
• In-house experience at an advertising/marketing agency, media agency or similar business a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of advertising technology, integrated marketing, market research and digital media.
• Experience with intellectual property matters including copyright, trademark, and licensing.

Job Summary:

Real Chemistry is looking for a Senior Counsel to join our growing team! The right candidate will be a client service-oriented attorney who is ready to tackle new challenges at a global company that is growing very rapidly.

This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Support and advise on commercial legal matters with a focus on advertising, marketing, and digital media.
• Draft and negotiate complex client and vendor commercial and licensing agreements.
• Proactively handle legal requests as the first point of contact for client or vendor negotiations, employment concerns and general legal matters.
• Provide ongoing legal counsel on commercial transactions, intellectual property laws, data and privacy regulations, and applicable advertising regulations.

What You Should Have:

• JD from accredited law school licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction in which you work.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ meaningful work experience in a combination of law firm and in-house; in-house experience at an advertising/marketing agency, media agency or similar business a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of advertising technology, integrated marketing, market research and digital media required.
• Experience in SaaS and AI solutions, digital content production, influencer, and social media matters.
• Solid understanding of advertising regulations.
• Conversational savvy across broad business functions including marketing, HR, finance, analytics and AI.
• Experience with intellectual property matters including copyright, trademark, and licensing matters.
• Experience reviewing and clearing content for creative assets preferred.

Pay Range: $160,000-$180,000

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
