Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Platform Engineering COTS Manager to lead the technical coordination of COTS for the program, developing the COTS architecture and related documentation. The role requires coordinating across Hardware/Infrastructure, Software and Systems Engineers, CM, and SCM to ensure proper COTS documentation and control.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with 5+ years in a technical environment, strong written and verbal communication, and an active TS/SCI/CI Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in STEM and 5 years related experience.
• Experience interfacing with systems, software or hardware engineering.
• Ability to communicate technical information to senior management.
• Experience defining and reporting metrics with Metrics Tools.
• Active TS/SCI/CI Poly clearance required day 1; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical coordination of COTS for the program.
• Develop program COTS architecture and documentation.
• Create engineering repository in Windows and Linux.
• Coordinate with Configuration Management to control COTS items.
• Evaluate COTS updates and vendor issues.
• Coordinate with SCM and the Material Program Manager for issues.
• Maintain maintenance support for COTS products.
• Collect infrastructure status for COTS tracking and licenses.
• Present metrics and track program progress with metrics tools.
• Conduct periodic COTS audits and validate baselines.
• Close audit findings/actions with Infrastructure and CM.
