The Senior Platform Engineering COTS Manager is responsible for documenting, coordinating, and status accounting the program’s Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) baseline. This position requires close attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. It also requires prioritizing tasks consistent with program priorities. The ideal candidate possesses attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills; and has experience with the MS Office product suite. To include windows and Linux based environments. The COTS Manager coordinates closely with the Hardware and Infrastructure, Software and Systems Engineers, Configuration Manager, Material Program Manager, and Supply Chain Management to ensure all procured COTS are properly documented. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
