Colgate-Palmolive invites applications for a Senior Financial Analyst, Costing, based in Piscataway, New Jersey. The role partners with Supply Chain to ensure cost accuracy and integrity across accounting processes, including ME variances, inventory controls, asset capitalization, and data governance.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in finance, strong Excel and Google Suite skills, and experience with SAP (O2I, R2R, P2P).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years finance experience in multinational manufacturing/CPG focusing on cost accounting.
• Solid understanding of internal control structures, systems and processes.
• Advanced to expert-level Excel; proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs).

Responsibilities

• Month-End & Variances: Review cost variances, prepare ME PPV Reports, bulk reclassifications.
• Inventory & SLOBs: Manage inventory, safety stock, review CM files, dispose materials end-to-end.
• Fixed & Idle Assets: Maintain asset register, manage idle ageing, capitalization requests with engineering.
• Asset Operations: Conduct MWIP reviews, support cross-site counts, asset tagging and write-offs.
• Compliance & Data: Ensure SOX compliance, update master data, rectify external reporting errors.
