Job summary

Deckers Brands in Goleta, CA is seeking a Sr. Costing Analyst for UGG Footwear to support costing activities across the seasonal development cycle. You will analyze costs, validate pricing data, and help cross-functional teams achieve target margins.

The role collaborates with Product Development, Creation, Merchandising, Planning, and Asia Costing teams, ensuring accurate cost breakdowns and timely reporting. A hybrid in-office schedule is typical three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in financial or business analysis, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of product costing experience in footwear and/or apparel/accessories.
• Experience with financial business reporting and pricing models.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with FlexPLM or similar systems.
• General knowledge of product construction and manufacturing.
• Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Creation, Merchandising, Planning, and Asia Costing teams to meet seasonal costing deliverables
• Review Cost Breakdown Sheets and partner with stakeholders to resolve product costing challenges and improve product margins
• Provide retail price, FOB price, and landed cost analysis to regional product teams for merchandising seasonal lines
• Assist Product Development in pre-costing seasonal lines to ensure early product build costs are within target range
• Manage and validate costing data in FlexPLM system to support the brand
• Build Seasonal LOP lists to support Development in factory allocation decisions
• Work with product teams to review, confirm, and track brand tooling amortization exposure
• Develop and lead ad hoc research projects and reporting as needed
