Job summary

FirstKey Homes LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Cost to Own, to analyze and present operational and financial data related to Cost to Own P&L lines, including property taxes, insurance, and home owners expenses. The role emphasizes reporting, forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis for internal and external stakeholders.

The role reports to the Vice President of FP&A and collaborates with the Director of Property Taxes and the Senior Vice President of FP&A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a finance or business analyst role.
• Proficiency in SQL to extract and analyze data sets.
• Advanced Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cost-to-own P&L lines (Property Taxes, Insurance, Homeowners Expense) and report weekly/monthly results.
• Perform quarterly forecasting, annual planning, and ad-hoc analyses for stakeholders.
• Develop dashboards and tools to monitor KPIs and trend analyses.
• Coordinate monthly close with accounting and provide variance explanations.
• Prepare external reporting packages for stakeholders.
