Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Cost Specialist III for a 1-year assignment in Baytown, TX. The role focuses on cost estimating, project planning, scheduling, and project controls across key milestones, with close collaboration among project managers, estimators, planners, schedulers, and accounting teams.

The position involves supporting estimate preparation, schedule assessments, checks, quality assurance, and monthly progress reporting in a refinery/chemical complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in cost estimating, project planning, scheduling, and project controls.
• Experience supporting change control, cost reporting, and monthly progress reporting.
• Experience working with project managers, estimators, planners, schedulers, and accounting teams in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost estimating, planning, and controls across project milestones.
• Support estimate preparation, schedule assessment, and verification of cost and schedule bases.
• Perform check estimates, quality assurance activities, and change control coordination.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, planners, schedulers, and accounting teams.
