Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer for a 12-month contract in a refinery/chemical complex environment, stationed on-site in Houston or Baton Rouge. The role emphasizes cost estimating, planning and schedule review across FEED, commissioning and start-up, with a focus on identifying vulnerabilities and improving project controls performance.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, strong experience in scheduling, cost control and reporting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant project controls experience including planning, scheduling and cost control in complex projects.
• Experience on brownfield and turnaround projects.
• Background supporting schedule integration from FEED through commissioning and start-up.
• Experience coordinating progress reporting and supporting accounting reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in cost estimating, project planning and project controls.
• Strong Primavera P6 proficiency.
• High-level schedule summary development and schedule analytics capability.
• Strong progress measurement and progress stewardship with milestones.
• Ability to maintain change control and cost reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Support stand-up of a synthetic graphite facility through detailed project controls, planning and schedule review.
• Focus on cost estimating, planning and scheduling across FEED, commissioning and start-up.
• Identify schedule vulnerabilities and support reporting activity.
• Strengthen project controls performance through progress stewardship and analytics.
