Avion Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst in Huntsville, AL to support Army cost estimating efforts and program decisions. The role requires independent cost analysis, ACE-IT proficiency, and coordination with program offices.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in operations research, extensive experience with cost modeling, and the ability to brief leadership on complex data. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, Operations Research, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience supporting executive leadership.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and ACE-IT cost modeling.
• Familiarity with US Army acquisition processes and briefing to leadership.
• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal guidance.

Responsabilités

• Develop and defend cost estimates to support acquisition decisions.
• Plan and conduct independent cost analyses for assigned program.
• Forecast future costs of systems, projects, and resources.
• Create and maintain lifecycle cost estimates in ACE-IT.
• Develop cost estimating methodologies from available data sources.
• Provide budgetary guidance and allocate resources.
• Analyze EV reports and advise Product Manager on findings.
• Coordinate with program offices for milestones and APBs.
