Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to support a diverse portfolio in the Phoenix, Arizona area. You will be the key day‑to‑day client interface delivering value‑added cost management across data centers, commercial real estate, and high‑tech projects.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams to meet client objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred or pursuing.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning and prepare final cost plans.
• Review designs with the team and contractors to develop cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and ensure data accuracy with general contractor.
• Prepare cost reports and valuations; manage post‑contract variances.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and lead project teams.
• Ensure compliance with cost control processes and SOX as applicable.
