Job summary

Mace is seeking a seasoned Cost Manager to lead cost management, budgeting and procurement strategy across complex projects in Texas. You will guide cost consultants, deliver final cost plans, and ensure accurate valuations while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

The role requires 6–10 years in cost management or QS, a degree in QS or equivalent, and strong contract administration with a focus on value engineering and stakeholder engagement. Hybrid work is supported.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant cost management, quantity surveying or commercial management experience.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or equivalent.
• Detailed knowledge of construction contracts and methods of measurement.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost management, budgeting, estimating and cost planning activities across projects.
• Lead procurement reports, prequalification, enquiry, analysis and contract preparation.
• Manage and mentor a team of Cost Consultants, driving cost control and reporting to clients.
• Drive continuous improvement and value engineering to optimise project performance.
