Job summary

Oscar seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to lead post-contract cost management for a major data center project in Oregon. You will own cost reporting, budgets, and cost-to-complete forecasts, and challenge contractor pricing while advising the client and project team.

This client-facing role requires strong post-contract QS/cost management experience on complex projects, with a preference for consultancy or owner-side backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Post-contract QS/cost management on complex projects.
• Consultancy or owner-side experience preferred.
• Strong financial reporting and forecasting skills.
• Experience with data centers or MEP/commissioning advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost reporting, budget monitoring, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Review and negotiate change orders and supporting documentation.
• Assess payment applications and invoices against contracts.
• Track commitments, expenditure and cash flow.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and contingencies.
• Assess cost implications of schedule changes.
• Support final accounts and commercial closeout.
• Build relationships with client and project team.
