Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for a major data center portfolio in Northern Virginia. The role is client-facing, based in Tysons, VA, and supports projects across the region’s data center corridors.

You will be responsible for cost control, VE, and ongoing reporting. The ideal candidate has 6–7 years of cost management experience in large-scale construction, strong communication skills, and relevant certifications.

Qualifikationen

• 6–7 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management within large-scale construction.
• Experience supporting mission-critical or data center projects preferred.
• On-site presence and client-facing responsibilities.
• Proficiency in cost control, change management, and contract administration.
• Professional certifications (MRICS, PMP, CCP or similar) are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning and present final cost plans.
• Review cost estimates with design teams and general contractors.
• Reconcile changes and validate contractor data for accuracy.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to update estimates.
• Lead VE sessions and contribute to design optioneering.
• Produce monthly cost reports and support final account closeout.
