Job summary

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services firm, seeks a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support a large-scale data center construction program in Los Angeles. You will lead cost planning, budgeting and benchmarking across design and build phases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cost management, quantity surveying, estimating, or commercial management experience in construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; MRICS accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain budgets and cost plans across all data center design and construction phases.
• Prepare detailed estimating, cost planning, and benchmarking analyses from concept through completion.
• Review, analyze, and reconcile contractor, subcontractor, and consultant cost submissions.
• Lead change order management, including evaluation, negotiation, and recommendation of change requests.
• Produce and present cost reports, cash flow forecasts, cost risk assessments, and executive summaries for client stakeholders.
• Partner with design teams, contractors, and project leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering.
