Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Glendale, Kentucky seeks an experienced Senior Cost Manager to lead cost management on a major advanced manufacturing construction program. You will drive estimating, cost planning, forecasting and commercial controls across the project lifecycle.

You will partner with clients, contractors and stakeholders to deliver proactive, value-driven cost management on a multi-year capital program in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred or in progress.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large industrial/construction projects.
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Produce and present final cost plan; assist design services team and GC with cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and ensure contractor data accuracy; communicate with owner and project manager.
• Coordinate cost information from NPA, subs, and A/Es; prepare cost estimate updates.
• Develop cost plans through design phases and support VE and value engineering.
