Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support a major hyperscale data center program from the Dallas, TX area with periodic travel to a central Texas campus.

You will lead cost plans, budgets, and reports while coordinating with designers, contractors, and vendors. The role demands client-facing leadership, strong cost controls, and delivery-focused collaboration with site teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of cost management or project controls experience.
• Experience on data center, industrial, or large campus projects preferred.
• Consultancy experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, and MEP construction.
• Proficient budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and cost controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and budgets for multi-building campus.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and executive summaries to support decisions.
• Coordinate cost data from designers, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for validation.
• Lead procurement support and commercial negotiations for major packages.
• Oversee full change-management workflow and tracking of approvals.
• Mentor junior team members and support SOX compliance where applicable.
