Job summary

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is seeking a Cost Estimator Supervisor to oversee cost estimates, analyses, and forecasting for major capital projects. You supervise staff, coordinate with engineering and project teams, and ensure consistency with cost standards across program lifecycles.

The role involves developing and validating design-to-estimate costs, managing bid and change order processes, and contributing to risk and life-cycle cost analyses within CCP, COMIP, CIP, and R&R

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressively responsible experience in analyzing and estimating costs.
• Knowledge of Uniformat and CSI MasterFormat and cost estimation standards.
• Ability to prepare, review, reconcile, and validate independent estimates and bids.

Responsibilities

• Directs staff that analyzes, extends, and forecasts costs for design and construction projects.
• Reviews bids, proposals, and change orders for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Develops contingency levels and risk analyses for capital programs.
• Reports on cost performance and supports decision makers with recommendations.
