Job summary

Qualifications

• Six years of progressively responsible experience in mechanical engineering.
• A master's degree may substitute for two years of required experience.
• Four of the six years must include Central Utilities Plant, Hydrant Fueling, Fuel Farm, Engineering Plan Review, and project design/administration.
• Experience administering engineering and construction contracts and serving as project manager and COTR.
• Ability to review proposals and work products of consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Principal Staff Technical Advisor for CCP and COMIP mechanical projects.
• Manage design projects for airside and landside mechanical systems such as Central Utilities Plant and HVAC.
• Oversee contractors/consultants for scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Review design and construction documents to ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, management officials, and regulators.
• Develop and maintain MWAA design standards for mechanical systems.
