Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to join our multidisciplinary municipal, industrial, and project delivery teams. If you enjoy working with numbers, thrive on precision, and want to impact meaningful projects, this role is for you.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation Excellence: Supervise and coordinate the development of accurate, timely, and detailed cost estimates for major projects, guiding project outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Analytical Insight: Prepare estimates by analyzing costs, materials, labor, bid documentation, and specifications, ensuring reliability.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain cost estimating databases using various software to streamline processes.
• Value Management: Collaborate with project teams to review drawings and specifications, aiding in cost-effective decision-making.
• Validation and Guidance: Evaluate third-party estimates, track market conditions, and provide estimating guidance for complex projects.
• Technical Skills: Perform quantity take-offs for large concrete structures and contribute to project sequencing and scheduling.
• Documentation: Write concise Basis of Estimate and Basis of Schedule reports.
• Client Collaboration: Participate in client review meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Risk Assessment: Establish estimating criteria, including labor, equipment, and materials, and lead risk assessments.
• Collaboration with Design Team: Analyze critical path activities and resolve issues with the design team.
• Team Building: Assist in developing the estimating and scheduling team and participate in staffing and development efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years in cost estimating, construction management, or related fields, with experience in developing construction estimates and schedules per AACEI guidelines.
• Proficiency in MCACES, MII, @risk, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, and a collaborative attitude.

This position is hybrid, requiring visits to offices and field sites as needed.
