Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to join the ISR/SOF team in the Air Force Division at WPAFB, Dayton, OH. The role requires extensive cost-estimating expertise within DoD programs and the ability to work independently on complex analyses.

You will define WBS/CES, support POE/IGCE, and perform CAIV and life-cycle cost studies, leveraging tools like Oracle Crystal Ball and ACET. Secret clearance is required; travel about 5%.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in a related field with 10 years' experience, 5 in DoD.
• Or a Bachelor's in a related field with 12 years' experience, 5 in DoD.
• Ability to work independently and apply procedures as a Cost Estimating Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for all phases of Sensors acquisition programs.
• Define Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Estimating Structures (CES).
• Prepare POE, IGCE, and other government cost estimates and milestones.
• Support life-cycle cost estimates and CAIV analyses.
• Apply FAR/DFARS, FMR DoD 7000.14-R and relevant guidance.
• Maintain data integrity in financial databases and cost-estimating tools.
