The US Architect of the Capitol is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to support the Cost Estimating Group and Construction Execution Branch in developing estimates for new construction, and renovations to the Capitol Complex. As a senior professional, you will apply knowledge of design stages, collaborate with engineers and contractors, and ensure estimates meet standards and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience developing estimates from schematic through working drawings for construction projects.
• Lead and oversee cost estimates ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Develop estimates using SUCCESS Estimator/RIB, Cost-OS, or equivalent.
• Advise engineers, architects, and contractors to align with budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for new construction, restorations, alterations, and repairs in the Capitol Complex.
• Provide advisory services to ensure estimates align with project budgets and projections.
• Serve as COR or equivalent for support contracts when assigned.
